garden 2014 take two

During a Sunday afternoon of fairly steady rain, during which I ventured
out to install plant supports on a few occasions, the garden looks like this.

I set up two soaker hoses, one at each end of the garden, then verified

that they were working as designed, and placed pinestraw in the aisles between the beds

to retain moisture. The garden was then watered for forty-five minutes or so, as rain isn't

 forthcoming. We've been fortunate to be able to work with the existing soil ph; the

plants are growing well in the raised-beds and garden soil we're using.
