garden 2005 planting details

The first post concerns the Shephard's garden. We need a place to store information about how we set up the garden this year, which plants did well, and what we can do better next year.

• For each bed (4 in all) we added 3 bags of topsoil.
• Our plants came from Lowe's, in small six-packs; we planted:
• beans
  
• cucumbers "straight eight"
• squash "yellow straight neck"
  
• tomatoes:
• "bonnie original"
• "big boy"
• "early girl"
• "roma"
